Entry Requirements

Successful completion of the course requires knowledge of the basics of chemical thermodynamics, chemical kinetics and catalysis, as well as skills in performing practical work in the field of physical chemistry.

Course Objectives

The goal of the course is to familiarize students with the basic theoretical concepts of the structure of the electric double layer, adsorption on electrodes, the kinetics of electrode processes, as well as with methods for studying equilibria and rates of electrode processes in electrochemical systems.
